(MARSHALL) – The Coldwater girls softball team started the conference portion of their season with a pair of wins over host Marshall 7-3 and 15-7. Game two of the Interstate 8 double header was called after 5 innings due to darkness. Mia Rzepka got the win in game one, striking out 5 and also getting 2 hits and 2 RBI. In game two, Alexis Bills struck out 8 to get the win. She also had 2 hits on the night. Jayla Foster hit a homer as Coldwater improves to 5-3 overall and 2-0 in the Interstate 8.
