(UNION CITY) – The Mendon girls basketball team started the 2021-22 season with a road trip to Union City and a non conference win, 49-17. Payton Griffith led the Lady Hornets with 17 points, 13 steals, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. Makennah Mullin had 12 points, 16 rebounds and 2 blocks. Alivia Stuart added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals while Ryley Mullin had 6 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists.
