Essegian sets scoring mark in Central Noble's 76-10 win over Hamilton

(ALBION) – A new scoring record was set as the Central Noble boys basketball team beat visiting Hamilton 76-10 in NECC action. Connor Essegian led the Cougars with a 33 points, and becomes the school's all time leading scorer, regardless of gender. Essegian now has 1,773 career points and passes former career scoring leader Sydney Freeman who had 1,741 career points. Connor Lemmon and Ryan Schroeder each had 11 points as Central Noble improves to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the NECC. Hamilton is 0-2 and 0-1 in the conference.
