(UNDATED) – Some area ladies were named to the Big 8 All Conference girls basketball team for the 2018-19 season. First Team All Conference goes to Kiera Lasky and Keona Salesman of Bronson, Quincy's Katie Rathbun and Autumn Carpenter of Union City. Selected All Conference Honorable Mention are Meagan Lasky of Bronson, Jessica Holcomb and Hailey Hinds of Quincy along with Union City's Hope Austin. League MVP was Alana Nelson of Springport, who won the Big 8 Championship.
