Sturgis girls bowling team also repeats at Conference champions

(PLAINWELL) - The Sturgis girls bowling team also repeated as Wolverine Conference Champions, after a third place finish in the Conference Tournament. The Lady Trojans beat Three Rivers to finish third in the tournament. Otsego beat Paw Paw to finish first in the Tournament. Like the boys, the Sturgis girls has enough points from going undefeated in the regular season to win the Conference Championship. Named First Team All Conference were Lyndsey Spillers, Kayle Johnson, Rachel Huff and Lauryn Hopkins. Taelynn Robison was named All Conference Honorable Mention. Lady's Coach of the Year honors went out to Scott Spahr of Sturgis and Barry Szuka of South Haven.
