Western women beat Bowling Green 74-53
(BOWLING GREEN, OH) - Behind a monster game from sophomore Deja Wimby, the Western Michigan women's basketball team went on the road to defeat Bowling Green 74-53 Wednesday night at the Stroh Center. The Broncos, who snapped a five-game skid, improve to 15-9 overall, 6-7 in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and 8-5 on the road this season. Wimby recorded her fifth double-double of the season as she led all scorers with a career-high 23 points and a career-high 11 rebounds. She also led the team with 5 steals and 3 assists. Meredith Shipman added 18 points and Breanna Mobley had 11 points.
