Sturgis girls take first at Centreville CC Invitational

(CENTREVILLE) – The Sturgis girls cross country team won the 11-12 portion of the Class A-B section of the Centreville Invitational . Three Rivers was second. Kathy Potter of Coldwater was first overall in a time of 20:12. Meg Scheske of Sturgis was second in a time of 20:41 while Carissa Kelly was third overall in a time of 21:28. In the Class C-D section, Centreville was led by Morgan Walton who was 8tha in a time of 24:37. Meagan Herline of Constantine was 16tha at 26:45 while MaKenzie Oatley of Mendon was 18tha at 26:57. Centreville, Constantine and Mendon did not have enough runners to compete as a team.
