Schoolcraft tops Marcellus 56-37 to win District title
(SCHOOLCRAFT) – Host Schoolcraft picked up a 56-37 win over Marcellus to win a Class C District title. The Eagles' long range shooting helped them break open a close game to get the victory. Trenton Lomanson had 17 points for Schoolcrat while Jakob Huysken had 16 points and Kobe Clark added 10 points in the win. Marcellus was led by Gavin Etter with 10 points. Eli Robinson had 9 points and Kaeler Stafne had 8 points. Marcellus ends the season with a record of 18-6. Schoolcraft improves to 17-6 and will face No. 6 Kalamazoo Christian in a Regional semifinal game on Monday at Constantine.

Host Homer beats Quincy 62-59 for District title
(HOMER) – Host Homer won a Class C District basketball title on their home floor as they beat conference foe Quincy 62-59 in a tightly played game. William Dunn led the Orioles with 30 points and 9 rebounds. His 3 point shot fell off the rim just as the buzzer sounded to end the game. Teammate Braden Allman had 9 points while Bryce Ruhl had 4 points. Quincy ends the year at 18-5. Jordan Sherman had 26 points for Homer as the Trojans improve to 13-9 and will face No. 10 Cassopolis in a Regional semifinal game.
