White Pigeon golf team wins Lawton Invitational

(LAWTON) – Despite the bad weather conditions, the White Pigeon golf team won the Lawton Invitational on Saturday, shooting 361 on the day. St. Joseph LMC was second (363); host Lawton third (365); and Centreville was fourth (377). Gobles also participated but did not finish. Medalist honors went to Corey Seger of LMC with a round of 77. Blaine Shafer led White Pigeon with an 85. Centreville's Carter Geigley had an 86. With the victory, White Pigeon coach Mark Olsen has 1,003 career victories.
