No. 10 Centreville girls beat No. 3 Kalamazoo Christian

(DECATUR) – Rain on Saturday made the softball diamond at Decatur High School unplayable. So the Division 4 Regional Championship was postponed until Monday, and when it was all said and done, No. 10 Centreville beat No. 3 Kalamazoo Christian 7-1 to capture a Regional title. Hannah Duchene picked up the win on the mound, giving up 5 hits and striking out four. MaKenzi Troyer had two hits including a three run double. Teammate Mckenzie Sheteron had 3 hits and 3 RBI while Kaylee Trattles had 2 RBI. Centreville is back in action today, as they will take on Ottawa Lake Whiteford in a Division 4 quarterfinal game at 2 PM at Bailey Park in Battle Creek.
