(UNDATED) – Work is planned for U.S. 20 near the LaGrange-Steuben County Line next week.

The Indiana State Highway Department has announced they will be starting a road piping replacement project. From March 31 until April 8 they will be replacing a series of pipes along U.S. 20 by the school farm at Prairie Heights Community Schools.

Traffic will be down to one lane with flaggers directing the vehicles. They will be working from 7 AM until 5 PM daily.

Motorists are asked to allow extra time when traveling in the area, especially during the morning and afternoon school transition hours. Drivers should be alert and aware of road workers at all times.

After the pipe work is completed, workers will start the patching process. That will run from April 12 through the April 15 and they will be working daily from 7 AM until 5 PM.
