(UNION TOWNSHIP) – Minor injuries were reported in a two vehicle crash in Branch County's Union Township.

Branch County Undersheriff Keith Eichler says the crash happened just after 11 AM Friday on Union City Road west of Hodunk Road. 50 year old Rochelle Denny of Union City pulled out of a blind private drive and into the path of 19 year old Joseph Shirkey of Coldwater and the vehicles collided.

Both drivers were wearing their safety belts. Denny was giving a citation for failure to yield. Assisting at the scene were the Union City Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance.
