(STURGIS) – A long time Sturgis business is closing for good.

It was announced Sunday on social media that Sturgis Bowl will be closing their doors permanently.

Owner Bill Burke shared that 2020 was a harsh year for all businesses, and Sturgis Bowl struggled with timelines, staffing, along with procedures and protocols. He said they missed their customers and all the fun they once had, and barreled through as best they could.

Burke says unfortunately, the damage it had on Sturgis Bowl is one that is unrecoverable, and it's with heavy hearts they announce they will be closing. He says this has been on their minds for months as they tried to make things work, but they just can't go on.

Burke says they would like to thank all of their friends, families, employees and guests. Sturgis Bowl served as an amazing place for so many, and they will hold on to all of the memories and good times. Burke says they wish everyone all the best.
