New Leadership For St. Joseph County Commission

(CENTREVILLE) – There’s new leadership for the St. Joseph County Commission in 2022.
During Tuesday’s meeting, the Commissioners voted to have Kathy Pangle serve as Commission Chairman. Pangle is the Second District Commissioner, which is made up of Burr Oak, Colon, Mendon, Park and Leonidas Townships. She has served as the Vice Chairman for the past three years and is starting her sixth year as a County Commissioner.
She takes over for Dennis Allen, who has been the Commission Chairman for four years. Allen announced he would not seek the Chairman’s position for 2022.
In other business, the Commissioners voted to have Dan Czajkowski serve as the Vice Chairman. He has been a County Commissioner for five years, and represents the Fourth District, which is made up of White Pigeon, Constantine, Sturgis and Mottville Townships.
