LaSata Seeks Re-election To Michigan Senate

(NILES) – Michigan voters will be heading to the polls August 2 for the 2022 Primary Election.

Residents of the newly created 17th Michigan State Senate District will find two candidates seeking the Republican nomination to represent that district in Lansing. One of them is current 21st District State Senator Kim LaSata, while the other candidate is Jonathan Lindsey.

LaSata, who previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives, was elected to the Michigan Senate in 2018. She says this time on the campaign trail, it’s easier to speak to citizens because she can tell them what’s been done in the Senate. ...... {LISTEN}.

The newly created 17th Michigan State Senate district consists of all of St. Joseph, Branch and Cass Counties, along with portions of Berrien, Calhoun, Hillsdale, and Jackson Counties.
