Carra Seeking Re-election To Michigan House

(THREE RIVERS) – Incumbent Republican 59th District Congressman Steve Carra is facing a challenge in the August 2 Primary Election.

Carra, who is finishing his first term in Lansing, is being challenged by Jerry Solis, Jack Coleman and Scott McGraw for the Republican nomination to represent the newly created 36th Michigan House District seat. The 36th Michigan District is made up of all of St. Joseph County and all but five townships in Cass County.

Carra is running against Jerry Solis, Jack Coleman and Scott McGraw in the August 2 Primary for the Republican nomination.

The winner will face off against Democrat Roger Williams in the November General Election. Williams is running unopposed in the Democratic Primary.
