Crouch And Braun Announced Candidacy For Governor

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Two candidates have thrown their hat into the political ring and announced they want to run for Governor of Indiana.

Current Indiana Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch announced Monday that she would like to be Governor. Crouch has been Lieutenant Governor for current Governor Eric Holcomb since 2017. Prior to that she served as State Representative for District 78 an as the Indiana State Auditor.

In addition, U.S. Senator Mike Braun also announced Monday that he is running for Governor. He had filed his paperwork on November 30.

Braun was elected to the Senate in 2018, beating incumbent Democrat Joe Donnelly in the General Election.

Eric Holcomb has served two consecutive terms as Indiana Governor and can not run for re-election.
