(STURGIS) – The Sturgis City Commission has approved a time line to hire a new City Manager.

Applications and resumes will be due by January 27. The Commissioners will review them and then interview the candidates they select starting the week of February 20. A possible job offer will be presented on March 8 with a projected start date of April 24.

The salary for the job will range between $120,000 and $140,000.

Hughes announced in October that he will be resigning as City Manager on January 20, 2023 after 17 years in the position.
