(BRONSON TOWNSHIP) – An overheated chimney for a wood burning stove is said to be the cause of a Bronson Township house fire.

Fire Chief Scott Wilber says the Bronson Fire Department was called out to a house fire at 8 AM Friday at 1134 Holmes Road. He says the blaze was contained within the wall behind the chimney. Damages are estimated at $2,000.
