Bronson To Host CEDAM Fellow

(BRONSON) – The City of Bronson is seeking applications for a full-time, position.

Bronson City Manager Brandon Mersman says the City is looking for people to apply for the CEDAM Community Development Fellowship. This is a 15 month paid position that will help expand organizational capacity and take on a variety of development projects in Bronson. The fellow will work full-time, starting in May 2023.

Bronson was one of 10 Redevelopment Ready Communities selected by the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation to host fellows.

The fellow will take on various projects that aid in community economic development, ultimately helping promote equity and improve quality of life for those who live and work in Bronson. Some of the potential projects include grant writing; assisting with an update to the City’s Master Plan and Zoning Ordinances; completing Redevelopment Ready Communities tasks, economic development and other projects.

In addition to salary and benefits, the Fellowship also offers training, professional development and networking opportunities.
