(STURGIS) - The Sturgis Kiwanis Club recently honored the Sturgis High School Key Club March Students of the month.

Cora Taylor is a freshman. She participates in softball and diving, positive school culture and loves doing work for others.

Jacquline Flores is a junior. She participates in indoor and outdoor track, positive school culture, and enjoys volunteering. Jacquline would like to become a teacher.

Both Cora and Jacquline embody what a Key Clubber should be and stand for!

The students were invited to a recent Kiwanis luncheon where they were given a certificate in recognition of their service to Key Club.

Key Club is a student run club with over 100 members at Sturgis High School, that is sponsored by the Sturgis Noon Kiwanis Club. The Key Club teacher/advisor is Courtney Patrick.

The club recently helped out at the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts’ Magic Hour and the Sturgis High School Musical Mama Mia. They also were at the Doyle Community Center’s Inflatable Fun Day and Date With Dad, and at the Winter Adventure at Camp Fort Hill.
