(LANSING) – A Three Rivers man is a big winner after playing a Michigan Lottery game.

Lottery officials say 37 year old Nathan Brown won $345,835 in the Diamond Wild Time Progressive Fast Cash Jackpot. Brown bought his winning ticket at the Three Rivers Elks Lodge.

Brown says he and is girlfriend were at the Elks and decided to buy some Fast Cash tickets. He says he looked the Diamond Wild Time Progressive ticket over and was in disbelief when he realized how much he had won.

Brown says he had the bartender scan the ticket to confirm what he was seeing. When the message to file a claim came up, his girlfriend scanned the ticket on her Lottery app and confetti appeared on the screen. Brown says that’s when he knew it was real.

Brown recently visited Lottery headquarters in Lansing to claim his prize. He says he plans to invest his winnings
