Three Rivers Man Arrested For Calling In Threat Against School

(THREE RIVERS) – A suspect is in custody after threats were made against Three Rivers Middle School.

Michigan State Police say on April 14, an individual called WWMT TV in Kalamazoo and stated he was going to shoot up Three Rivers Middle School. The threat was shared with school personnel and the Michigan State Police.

Through their investigation, troopers identified a suspect. Based on their evidence, a search warrant was obtained and executed at the suspect’s residence in Three Rivers. No weapons were found, however, the 54 year old Three Rivers man was arrested for making terrorist threats.

He is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail. The incident remains under investigation.
