NE Indiana Communities Receiving Community Crossings Grants

(TOPEKA) – Several Northeast Indiana communities are receiving money from the State of Indiana for road projects.

The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced the communities that will be getting funds from the Indiana Department of Transportation’s Community Crossings Fund.

Topeka, Fremont, Churubusco, Noble County and Elkhart County are each receiving $1 million. The town of Albion will get $753,357.75. Middlebury will be getting $300,103.86.

The communities will have to come up with a 25% match for the funds.
