(COLDWATER) – A Three Rivers man is going to prison after being arrested on a tenth offense of drunk driving.

Branch County Circuit Court officials say 41 year old Jeremy Chandler was ordered on Monday to serve between 3 and 15 years, after pleading guilty to a third offense of operating while intoxicated and having a fourth time habitual offender sentencing enhancer.

By entering into the plea agreement, the Branch County Prosecutor’s Office dismissed charges of transporting open intoxicants in a vehicle, and a second offense of driving while license suspended.

On February 15 at 9:30 PM, Michigan State Police were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle that pulled into a driveway of a house on Airview Drive in Coldwater Township. Troopers arrived and found Tomlinson passed out in the driver’s seat of the auto.

He was given a preliminary breath test at the scene, which came back at .21 for blood alcohol level.

Investigators say Tomlinson was on parole when he was arrested in February. His driver’s license has been revoked indefinitely because of his prior convictions.
