Centreville School District Voters Approve Bond Proposal

(CENTREVILLE) – Voters in the Centreville School District said yes to a bond proposal on Tuesday.

By a vote of 465 Yes votes to 383 No votes, residents of the school district approved a bond millage of 7 mills. That’s an increase of .8 mills from the District’s current rate, and will generate just over $17 million.

Some of the projects in the ballot proposal include security upgrades, remodeling the elementary school and junior/senior high school, HVAC and electrical updates, purchasing school buses, and improving the athletic stadium.
