(CONSTANTINE) – Constantine Public Schools had their no millage proposal turned down.
Voters in the Constantine School District on Tuesday said by a total of 463 No votes to 355 Yes votes, they did not want to approve a no mill increase, refinancing of their bond.
The Constantine School District was asking for the refinancing of the bond, which would have brought in $3.9 million. That money would have been used to address roofing and insulation projects at both Constantine Middle School and Constantine High School.
