(CENTREVILLE) – The 2022-2023 school year came to an end Friday night for some students at a St. Joseph County school.

Glen Oaks Community College held their 55th annual Commencement Ceremony on Ken Schuler Court. President Dr. David Devier presided over the ceremonies and shared for the in person and online audience some of information about the students who were graduating. ...... {LISTEN}.

Seven individuals received special recognition for winning awards. They are Madisyn Tulley who won the President’s Award; Christopher Dao who received the Outstanding Service Award; Darci Skrzyniarz who was given the Part-time Faculty Teaching Excellence Award; Lori Hatfield who received the E.J. Shaheen Chair For Teaching Excellence; Kelly Bibb who was given the Distinguished Alumni Award; Collin Dussel who received the Up And Coming Distinguished Alumni Award and Patricia Devier, who was given the Fellows Award.

The Health Sciences Pinning Ceremony was held Saturday for the nursing and allied health students.
