(THREE RIVERS) – A missing Three Rivers boy is safe at home after disappearing.
Three Rivers Police Chief Scott Boling says just after 7:30 PM Wednesday, officers were called to the 1100 block of Hannah Street on a report of a missing seven year old autistic child. K-9 Officer Finn and his handler arrived at the scene and started tracking the child, and found the child a short time later five blocks away.
Finn has been working with the Three Rivers Police as a K-9 officer since October 2022. He is a two year old Belgium Malinois.
