(UNDATED) – A police pursuit that started in Southern Michigan ended with a crash in Northeast Indiana.

The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says a deputy started a pursuit with a vehicle just after 11 AM Friday near Central Road and headed south on Old U.S. 27. Deputies say the suspect was somehow connected to a larceny
investigation being conducted by the Coldwater Police Department.

The chase reached speeds of 100 MPH as it continued south and entered Steuben County. Indiana authorities joined in the pursuit, which went onto State Road 120 and headed towards Fremont.

The chase ended with the suspect vehicle crashing near the intersection of Spring Street and Ray Road. The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office says that one of the individuals in the vehicle was injured and one was arrested.
