(CENTREVILLE) – Friday looks to be a busy day at the Fairgrounds in Centreville.

The St. Joseph County Housing Task Force is presenting the 2023 Project Connect & Veteran Stand Down. It will run from 10 AM until 1 PM at the Henningsen Show Area.

Laura Brott, the St. Joseph County Human Services Commission Collaborative Coordinator, and organizer of Project Connect, shares what the event is all about. ...... {LISTEN}.

Some of the information available will cover utilities and housing; education; legal aide; health care and insurance; senior services; and mental health.

Last year through Project Connect, 168 families were assisted, and organizers believe more could be helped this year.
