(LAGRANGE) – LaGrange County has their budget for 2024.

Tuesday morning, the LaGrange County Council unanimously approved the 2024 budget, which is $32,058,972. Councilman Harold Gingerich, who also is a member of the Finance Committee, says the budget process went better than it did one year ago. ...... {LISTEN}.

In addition to approving the budget, the County Council approved a salary ordinance for elected and non-elected employees. Gingerich says that was something the Finance Committee brought to the Council. ...... {LISTEN}.

Gingerich says next year, the Finance Committee would like to start working on the budget earlier than they did this year.
