
City Commission Interviews Candidates For 2nd Precinct Seat

(STURGIS) – The Sturgis City Commission interviewed two individuals for an upcoming open seat.
During a work session Wednesday, the Commissioners interviewed Alan Albarran and Rodger Moyer, who applied for the position of Second Precinct Commissioner. One of the men would replace Brandon Kinsey, who announced he was stepping down from the Commission at the end of October due to increased responsibilities in his position as a Pastor at Radiant Life Church.
Albarran was the first candidate to be interviewed and was asked why he thinks he is the right person for this position. ...... {LISTEN}.

The Commission will be asked to vote during their October 25 meeting on who to have appointed to Kinsey’s seat. Kinsey’s term runs until 2024, so whoever is appointed will have the opportunity to run for their own term next year.
