(STURGIS) – Another step has been taken to complete the sale of Sturgis Hospital to Asker Corporation.

Wednesday night the City Commission voted unanimously to have City Manager Andrew Kuk sign an agreement that would allow for the sale of Sturgis Hospital to Asker. Kuk says the two sides have been working on this since September 27 and why it’s coming back to the Commission. ...... {LISTEN}.

Kuk says the Sturgis Building Authority approved the agreement during their Wednesday morning meeting. All the other parties involved will be asked to approve it as well. Kuk had no timeline on when that would be done.
