
Three Contested Races In Three Rivers City Commission Elections

(THREE RIVERS) – Voters in Three Rivers will decide who sits in four seats on the City Commission during Tuesday’s election.
Of those four seats, three of them are contested.
In the race for Three Rivers Mayor, 12 term incumbent Thomas Lowry is being challenged by Vernis Mims Jr. The two received the most votes in the August Primary.
The At Large Commission seat is also being contested. Incumbent City Commissioner Torrey Brown is facing off against Jason Reeves. In Ward 1, incumbent City Commissioner Pat Dane is is being challenged by John G. Kish
In Ward 3, Incumbent Christopher Abel is running unopposed for re-election.
All four seats up for elections are two year terms.
Polls will be open until 8 PM on Tuesday.
