(STURGIS) – Sturgis’ new City Commissioner officially took office Wednesday night.

Alan Albarran was sworn in during the Commission’s regular meeting and assumed his position as a Second Precinct Commissioner. He says he’s been working on getting himself familiar with what the Commission has been working on. ...... {LISTEN}.

During their October 25 meeting the City Commission voted to appoint Albarran to take over for Brandon Kinsey as a Second Precinct Commissioner.

Kinsey announced in September he was stepping down from the Commission at the end of October due to added responsibilities in his position as a Pastor with Radiant Life Church in Sturgis.
