(COLDWATER) – ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital has received a high mark in hospital safety.

ProMedica Coldwater earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade, from the Leapfrog Group, which is a National nonprofit watchdog organization that sets standards for excellence in patient care. Leapfrog assigns letter grades to general hospitals across the United States based on over 30 National performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent harm.

Daniel Schwanke, ProMedica Site Administrator, says they are honored to receive this recognition for the fourth consecutive survey season. He says the staff continues to demonstrate their unwavering dedication to providing the highest quality care to the patients and the community.

Schwanke says ProMedica Coldwater is one of only 24 hospitals in Michigan to receive this “A” grade.
