(STURGIS) – Sturgis Neighborhood Program has hired a new Executive Director.
SNP President Tracey Parker says they are pleased to announce that Kathryn Myers has joined the organization as the new Executive Director. She takes over for Monica Smith, who served as Executive Director for 23 years, and retired July 23.
Parker says Myers brings a wealth of experience to the Sturgis Neighborhood Program and will help the organization best serve the community as they continue to grow and provide housing in the Sturgis community.
Myers has a professional background that includes having worked in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources and Quality Management before joining SNP. During her free time, Myers likes to help with the area’s 4-H programs. She also likes to spend time outdoors with her family, especially at downtown Sturgis events and the St. Joseph County Grange Fair.
Myers says she is thrilled to join an organization with such a strong community focus. She says she is looking forward to being a part of the Sturgis Neighborhood Program team and continuing to serve the Sturgis area.
