(STURGIS) – Not many businesses or organizations can say they have been around for 100 years.

The Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce has reached the 100 year mark and celebrated the milestone Thursday night during their Annual Dinner.

Chamber Executive Director Kari Hatt shared that while our community is different than it was in 1923 when the Chamber started, there have been some constant threads that have remained over the last century. ...... {LISTEN}.

Several awards were handed out last night as well. Receiving the Phoenix Award, which is given to business for improvements to their building a grounds, was The Parlor.

Mancino’s Pizza and Grinders was given the Outstanding Customer Service Award.

The Chamber Ambassador of the Year Award was given to Mist Gardner. The Chamber Community Service Award goes to Gabe Alvez and the Chamber Participation Award goes to Scott Leonard.
