(UNDATED) – Michigan State Police will be around St. Joseph and Branch Counties December 2, but not in their normal capacity.

Troopers from the White Pigeon Detachment will be holding their 15th annual “Stuff A Blue Goose” Christmas food and toy drive. They will be at the Sturgis and Three Rivers Wal Mart Stores from 10 AM until 6 PM that day, collecting non-perishable food items and new toys for families in need.

All the items collected that day will be given to the Salvation Army who will distribute them to families in St. Joseph County.

On the same day, Troopers from the Coldwater Detachment will be hosting their 15th annual drive at the Coldwater Wal Mart Store. It will be from 10 AM until 6 PM and the items collected in Coldwater will remain in Branch County and the Salvation Army will give them to families who need a hand up.
