(STURGIS) – Setting goals for City staff and the City Commission is of interest to new Sturgis Mayor Frank Perez.

During Monday’s Sturgis City Commission meeting, Perez shared that he and City Manager Andrew Kuk met recently to discuss setting goals for the Commission. ...... {LISTEN}.

Perez says he and Kuk also talked about goals and objectives for the City Manager. ...... {LISTEN}.

Perez says his reason for the change is because with the possibility of new Commissioners being elected every two years, and possibly a new Mayor being chosen in November, by having the City Manager goals set in October, the Commission would know what they are and not have to worry about helping to set them.

The Commission agreed with Perez’s suggestions.
