(STURGIS) – The Sturgis baseball team dropped a home, Wolverine Conference double header to Edwardsburg 1-0 and 16-0 in 3 innings. In Game One, Gibson Cary pitched 7 innings and struck out 12 batter, and surrendered no earned runs. He also hit a double. His counterpart, Payton Bookwalter of Edwardsburg struck out 17. In Game Two, Sturgis went without a hit with Cary getting a walk. Sturgis is now 3-14 on the season.
