Allen Meyer Hired As New Centreville JR/SR High School Principal

(CENTREVILLE) – Centreville Public Schools has a new Principal for the Jr/Sr. High School Building.

During Monday’s meeting the Centreville Board of Education approved the hiring of Allen Meyer to fill that position. Aaron Hartong, who had served as Principal since 2022 resigned earlier this year to return to the classroom.

Meyer has degrees from Western Michigan University, Grand Valley State University and Western Governors University. Since 2014, Meyer has been a teacher at Sturgis High School, where he taught English, English As A Second Language; German and was also the advisor for the Sturgis High School Yearbook.

In a post on his Facebook page, Meyer says he is thankful for his time with Sturgis Public Schools and everything he has learned. Meyer says he is very excited to join the team in Centreville and to be part of all the awesome things happening there.
