(CENTREVILLE) – There’s going to be a little more activity in Centreville this weekend as the 52nd Covered Bridge Days Festival is underway.

Today the Kids Zone will be open with putt putt, ball toss and bounce houses. The craft sale will get underway and there will be food vendors in the downtown as well.

At 4 PM, you can hear stories with heroes in the Kids Zone. The Salute To Monster Truck Event gets underway at 5 PM. Registration for the Cornhole Competition starts at 5 PM and then the action gets underway at 6 PM.

You can hear the band Sporkfight at 7 PM and then at 10 PM there will be fireworks at Swanwick Park.
