Hometown Heroes Being Honored Today At Fair

(CENTREVILLE) – Another fun day is waiting for you at the 2024 St. Joseph County Grange Fair.
Today is Hometown Heroes Day, as the Fair will be honoring Law Enforcement, Firefighters, EMT’s, Dispatch, Victim Services and EMS with $5 admission. There will be a photo tribute to our Hometown Heroes on display at the Community Stage.
At 12 PM there will be harness racing in the Grandstands and at 1 PM is the Open Class Antique Tractor Parade.
There will be several events on the Community Stage during the afternoon, including the Make And Take Crafts at 2 PM; the Cheese Making Class at 4 PM and at 5 PM the Anglemeyer’s Tae Kwon Do demonstration. At 6:30 PM, you can hear the sounds of the band Si Bheag Si Mohr.
The 4-H Sheep Show starts at 4 PM and the Blanket Wheel gets underway at 6 PM in Area 52. Also at 6 PM will be the Mini Horse Pulls at the Horse Show Arena.
At 7 PM you can watch the Farm Stock Tractor Pulls, Semi Pulls and NTPL in the Grandstands. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for kids 5 to 12 and pit passes are $20 for people of all ages.
