(MENDON) – The Mendon Police Department is continuing their investigation into the break in at a bank.
On September 18, just before 9 PM, the Mendon Police were called to the Southern Michigan Bank and Trust branch at 100 North Nottawa Street, after being notified that a man used a rock to enter the building. When the officers arrived, they found the suspect had left.
The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office set up a perimeter and searched the area. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office brought a K-9 officer to help track the individual.
The suspect is still at large, but Mendon Police have put together information that could lead to his identification.
