Bronson Planning Commission Says No To Recreational Marijuana

(BRONSON) – Bronson’s Planning Commission has said No to allowing recreational marijuana businesses to operate in the City.
Monday night, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to discuss the possibility of having recreational marijuana businesses operate in the city. One of the questions asked by a member of the audience was how much money would it bring it. Planning Commission Chairman and City Council member William Earl shares some information with those in attendance. ...... {LISTEN}.
In addition there are State tax revenues that would come back to the community.
Several audience members voiced their concern over having these types of businesses in Bronson. Kim Irwin, a Pastor at Bethel Gilead Church, shared her thoughts on the matter. ...... {LISTEN}.
After hearing from the audience, the Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend to the Bronson City Council to not allow for these types of businesses to operate in the City.
