Area Teams Have County Champs At Track Meet

Other area girls teams have good showings at County Meet
(STURGIS) – Some other girls won County championships at the St. Joseph County UAW Meet. Centreville's Abigail Schlabach won the 3200 meters. Teammate Danielle Stauffer was champion in the long jump while the 3200 meter relay team took first place. Mendon's Keyara Szymanski was County champion in the shot put and the discus.

Other boys win County championships at County meet
(STURGIS) – Several other St. Joseph County boys track teams had County champions at the St. Joseph County UAW Meet. Centreville's Dylan Coney won the 200 meters and teammate Joshua Falkenstein was champion in the 400 meters. Tyler Swanwick won the high jump. Centreville also won the 800 meter relay, the 1600 meter relay and the 3200 meter relay. Charlie Newberry of Mendon was the County champion in the 800 meters. Colon's Alexander Stoll won the 110 meter hurdles; Nick Bucher of White Pigeon captured the shot put championship and James Sailor was County champ in the discus.
