(LAGRANGE) – The Lakeland boys basketball team fought hard, but fell in their home and season opener to No. 3 NorthWood 74-37 in non conference action. Turnovers hurt the Lakers, who were led by Ben Keil who had 14 points on the night. Brother Nate Keil had 11 points. Tyler Raasch led the Panthers with a game high 21 points. Teammate Cade Brenner had 20 points. Lakeland starts the season at 0-1 while NorthWood is 1-0.
