Sturgis boys rally to beat Three Rivers 45-42

(STURGIS) – Sturgis held a three point lead at halftime, was held scoreless in the third quarter, and then rallied to beat the visiting Three Rivers Wildcats 45-52 in Wolverine Conference boys basketball action. A couple of late technical fouls on the Wildcats gave Sturgis free throw opportunities that they connected on and helped them beat Three Rivers. Jacob Thompson led the Trojans and all scorers on the night with 31 points, including 17 points in the fourth quarter. ...... {LISTEN}. Grady Miller added 8 points in the win. Andrew Brown paced the Wildcats with 11 points and Heston Salisbury had 10 points. Sturgis improves to 2-7 overall and 1-5 in the Wolverine Conference. Three Rivers drops to 3-6 and 2-4 in the conference.
